Nolan McAllister Bio

Nolan is a Metis filmmaker from British Columbia residing on the traditional and unceded lands of the Tkʼemlúps te Secwépemc within the Secwepemcúl’ecw. He is grateful to be able to work, play and learn on these lands.

He is the director of Orenda Films Inc. and works with a broad cross-section of organizations from not-for-profits, to commercial businesses to small communities and has also worked with high-profile film producers including Academy-recognized directors. Nolan has been working as a cinematographer and editor for over 10 years and has participated in various filmmaking programs including receiving specialized training from the American Society of Cinematography. 

Nolan leads a creative and innovative venture that exemplifies Indigenous storytelling and empowerment. His focus is on crafting culturally authentic Indigenous-led film and video productions that forge connections and drive impactful change.
